Africa-US Summit
Washington, August 4-6, 2014
The US-Africa Summit was held August 4 to 6, 2014. Representatives from almost 50 African countries, including 30 unionists, discussed trade, democracy and economic development. Side events to the main conference meetings were organized for the labour unionists by the AFL-CIO and its Solidarity Center. RadioLabour interviewed six of the unionists who attended the summit.
