Online Collaborative Learning for Unionists in Developing Countries
Online collaborative learning is the use of computer communications to provide and participate in educational activities at a distance. Despite challenges it can be used for educating the staff and members of unions in developing countries where most of the world's union members live.
This section includes two documents by Marc Bélanger.
The first is his (2006) PhD Thesis entitled "Online Collaborative Learning and the Training of Union Staff in Developing Countries". (The thesis is 240 pages long so it may take some time to download over slow Internet connections. Copies can be mailed to organizations or individuals in developing countries.)
The second is a short outline of the major arguments and findings contained in the dissertation.
