December 18: International Migrants Day

International Migrants Day is a day set aside by the United Nations to recognize the contributions migrants, and especially migrant workers, make to the societies they live and work in. It's also a day to consider the problems they face as millions of them are treated almost as slaves. RadioLabour interviewed two international labour activists about migrants. Chidi King is the Director of the Equality Department of the International Trade Union Confederation - the ITUC. Jin Sook Lee is the Migration, Gender and Campaigns Director for the Building and Woodworkers International - the BWI.
