Reporting for RadioLabour



RadioLabour accepts English-language news reports about workers' activities from people all around the world.  There are two categories of reporters:

Union activist reporters

        These are unionists who want to report on a particular event, publicize an activity of their union, or provide occasional reports to RadioLabour about labour events in their region.  All you need to become a union activist reporter on RadioLabour is an inexpensive headphone-microphone unit and access to a computer connected to the Internet.  It’s quick and simple to do.  To learn more about becoming a union activist reporter for RadioLabour, click here:

Labour audio reporters

            These are unionists who produce audiocasts for services such as RadioLabour on a regular basis.  RadioLabour’s audio reporters are listed in the Reporting section.

            Labour audio reporters create and edit audio reports and provide them ready to be audiocasted.  They use equipment such as better quality headphone-microphone units or separate headphones and microphones to produce higher quality audiocasts. They create their audiocasts using editing software.  The equipment they use is relatively inexpensive and the editing software is free.  You could learn to be a labour audio reporter easily.
